Ross Luthin Creative is an experiential graphic design, wayfinding and sign design firm founded in 2000 by Gordy Ross and Ted Luthin on the premise that good design has the power to make places more interesting, experiences more memorable, destinations easier to find and businesses more successful. Since then, we have applied this concept to the enhancement of every type of project, designing sign programs and environmental graphics for mixed-use developments, destination resorts, corporate campuses, retail centers, office buildings, multifamily residential complexes, colleges, universities, student housing and medical centers. Our services include: experiential graphic design, signage design, master sign programs, Visual Positioning and identity design.
Gordy RossHaving accumulated over thirty seven years of work in the Experiential Graphics profession, Gordy utilizes his wealth of experience to lead the creative efforts of Ross/Luthin Creative. A founding principal of the firm, his work is a blending of spatial planning, technical know-how and creative intuition. Gordy applies many of his experiential assets to each project: materials knowledge and fabrication techniques, planning, understanding project and tenant identity needs, and budget awareness and value engineering.
His extensive work as a Designer and Creative Director has included leading the creative efforts for a broad range of projects - from corporate campuses and medical facilities to boutique wineries and regional retail centers. EDUCATION Cal State University, Hayward Bachelor of Fine Arts |
Ted LuthinAs a partner in Ross/Luthin Creative, Ted's principal roles in the design process are planning, programming and design development. With over twenty seven years in the Experiential Graphic Design field and five years in the fields of architecture and construction, Ted combines the creative skills of a designer with the practicality of a detail oriented project manager.
Prior to co-founding Ross/Luthin Creative, Ted spent six years as Design Department Head and Project Director for a design/build experiential graphics firm. There, he was responsible for managing and taking an active role in all aspects of a project including sales presentations, contract negotiations, design process management, fabrication and installation.
